YOGA FOR BEGINNERS - A 4 week course to learn the foundations of the practice
for people who are completely new to yoga -

The practice builds week by week, introducing you to the basics of yoga postures (asanas), examining the importance of alignment and experiencing ease and stability in each pose.

You will also learn the importance of the breath and practice simple breathing techniques (pranayama) to energise or to relax. You will also explore the benefits of meditation & relaxation.

Through the course, you will bring together what you learn and practise the poses in a flow sequence, using basic Sun Salutations.

At the end of the course you will have all the essentials you will need to start your yoga journey, either to attend regular yoga classes or to start a home practice.

What to wear & what to bring

Props and mats are available for you in the studio.

There is no need to wear tight stretchy leggings and tops. The only thing that matters is that you wear comfortable clothes that you can easily move in.

As you move through a class you can get warm so it’s good to wear clothes that keep you cool, but bring a jumper for relaxation, when the body rapidly cools down.
