About the sessions:
The aim of these sessions is to promote awareness of your mind and body through the cultivation of mindful awareness. You will learn a variety of mindfulness practices and tools, which involve using the breath and body as a focus for being aware of our experience in the present moment.
Mindfulness principles and practices have been proven to help people manage symptoms of stress, anxiety, depression, relapses, and other mental health conditions including voice hearing. There also has been extensive research on the effectiveness of mindfulness as a tool for chronic pain management.
These sessions may help you de-center and relax, however, they are not being offered as a treatment for any specific physical or psychological conditions.
About me:
I am a fully qualified teacher trained with the Oxford Mindfulness Foundation in teaching Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) and registered with the British Association of Mindfulness-Based Approaches (BAMBA). I also hold a Mental First Aid Certificate and have enhanced DBS clearance.
Costs and Booking
- The first session is a free assessment of your needs and the suitability of my services.
- £45 for a single class
- £400 for a pack of 10 classes (£40 per session)
