This course is based on mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT). It helps break the cycle of anxiety, stress, unhappiness, and exhaustion by learning a set of simple yet powerful practices to incorporate into daily life.

It is an evidence-based course, developed in light of research at Oxford University.

Its main intention is to offer you some skills to shift from autopilot to present-moment awareness. In this way, you can pay attention to what's at hand, meet life’s challenges and difficulties, and respond more effectively to all of life’s inevitable ups and downs.  This course also helps you to savour and appreciate what’s good in your life.

This course is not being offered as a treatment for any specific physical or psychological conditions. Please do not sign up for this training if you are currently experiencing severe problems in these areas.

When: Thursday evenings

Dates:  17/10, 24/10, 31/10, 07/11, 14/11, 21/11.

Time: 6:00 to 7:30 pm
